Our Dedicated Coaches

The Oshawa Skating Club has a proud team of passionate and professional coaches. We have a coach for every skater, no matter their age or experience level.  Each coach differs in their rates, years of experience and qualifications. Once you and your child decide on a coach, you can contact them using the information on their profile or by email. You can also approach your coach of choice after a session to speak to them in person while at the arena.

Private Lessons

Having to choose a coach may be a bit overwhelming, so we recommend that you talk to your child.  They meet many of our coaches while on the ice.  They will more than likely know which coach(es) they enjoy learning from. Your skater is the one working directly with their coach, so it often works best if they have a comfort level already established.

Our coaches all have NCCP certification and are registered coaches in good standing with Skate Canada. They are bound by a Code of Ethics to respect parents and skaters, which means YOU must approach THEM to start the conversation about private lessons. Skate Canada and the Oshawa Skating Club offers a pressure free environment, meaning the choice is yours about which coach you choose and when you choose them.
