A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES Ice Show
This is the website for all you need to know about the ice show!! We will be adding things as we go, so please visit back as often as possible.
If you haven’t yet but still want to order a Well Wish for your skater(s) please email Darcy at president@oshawaskating.com with your request. He will require your message, your picture, and the size you want. Orders need to be in by February 19th, 2025. It’s a great chance to give a motivational and cheerful message to your skater and make them feel extra special, a great keepsake.

Only if you want them to watch the show with you. Our Bronze, Silver and Gold Skaters are going to be busy backstage so if your skater is in that group then the answer is no.
PreStarSkate Skaters- Can sit with you for the first half of the show, they are in the second half. You just need to tell us your intentions and bring them to the sign in table at the start of intermission.
PreCanSkate and CanSkate skaters-Can be picked up at intermission. They are all done by then. If you want them to sit with you for the remainder of the show you will need a skater ticket.
Reminder- PrecanSkaters are only in the afternoon show.

Please ensure your skater is wearing the items requested in your original email. We do recommend our young female Canskaters/PreStarSkaters wear bodysuits (beige or black) under their costumes. Most of our male Canskaters wear their clothes under.

Short answer is no. We will have volunteers to work with each group to help your skater tie their skaters, get their helmet on, and get their costume on. We have activities and games in the change room as well.
Long answer is, if you want to be in the back you must sign up to be a line convenor, you will be in charge of a group of 8-10 skaters with a partner, another adult. You will need to assist all skaters in the group if you do this job. We do need more, if you are interested please email Mandy at events@oshawaskating.com, you will get to watch your skater skate their number by being a line convenor for free.
