Oshawa Skating Club

A history of Success and a Future of Excellence

About Us

The Oshawa Skating Club is a non-profit organization, sanctioned by Skate Canada, that is dedicated to providing opportunities for all skaters to participate in skating for fun, fitness, and/or achievement.

The Oshawa Skating Club has been operating since 1938 offering a variety of programs from CanSkate to Competitive sessions.

The success of the club is due to the dedication of volunteers who donate their time to the sport of skating.

We are fortunate to have an excellent professional NCCP certified coaching staff dedicated to teaching skaters to excel.

We skate out of 2 arenas during the fall/winter season.

The Oshawa Skating Club's home is the UOIT/ Durham College Campus Ice Centre (Rink #2) on 2200 Simcoe Street North at Conlin Road (NW Corner).  Our sessions from Sunday through Wednesday are held at Campus Ice Centre.

Our other arena is Delpark Homes Centre (Pad #4) located on 1661 Harmony Road North, just north of Taunton Road.  Our Thursday evening sessions are held at the Delpark Homes Centre (formerly known as Legends Centre).

A Proud Member

We did it again!

January 2019 - Skate Ontario has awarded our CanSkate program a GOLD STAR for having achieved ADVANCED STANDARDS according to a list of best practice criteria. Our club has been a Mentor Club since the CanSkate program's launch. Skate Canada selected one of our coaches as one of the top 10 Best of the Best CanSkate Coaches for 2010. We are fortunate to have a strong team of Coaches and are proud to be able to maintain a quality (and fun!) program for our members. If you would like more information, please visit our Learn To Skate page or email
